Pauline Mills, 84 died Thursday, November 16, 2006 in Dalhart, TX.Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TXOfficiating will be Jerry Moore, Minister of the Central United Methodist Church, Dalhart, TXNellie Pauline White was born May 27, 1922 in Dallam County, Texas to Van & Lena (Hendrix) White. Pauline was raised in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1940. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and worked with the Vacation Bible School program. Pauline married Louis Mills on July 9th, 1940, he died in 1979. She was an LVN (graduated from the first LVN class from Dalhart in 1959). A devoted volunteer she was a member of Laureate Gamma Sorority, Hospice Volunteer, Head Start Volunteer and helped with the Health & Welfare immunization program from its inception. Pauline is survived by her Daughter: Doris Dugger of Dalhart, TX Granddaughter: Janna Williams of Ballinger, TX - Grandson: John Tyler of Foreman, AK Brother: Harve White of Hobbs, NM and Sister: Billie Young of Amarillo, TX 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildrenPreceded in death by: her Parents, 6 sisters, husband, and a daughter: Sandy Homfeld.
