Pauline Foster, died February 27, 2013, in Dalhart, TXGraveside service were held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home.Alva Pauline Foster was born on March 7, 1920 in Hartley, Texas to Luther and Dora Ray (Harmon) Hambright. Pauline attended and graduated from Dalhart High School. On November 11, 1941 she married Newton Foster. After Newtons discharge from the Army in 1946 they moved to Dalhart where they resided the rest of their lives. Pauline loved entertaining, bridge, golf and cooking.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Newton Foster, a son Howard, a great-grandson, Kirk Armer and 6 siblings.Survivors include a daughter, Terry Foster of Tishimingo, Oklahoma, three sons: Michael Foster and wife Sue, Gregory Foster and wife Sally all of Dalhart and Jay Foster and wife Teresa of Amarillo, a brother; Clyde Hambright of Atlanta, Georgia, 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Paulines family will be at 2015 Ute Trail.The family requests that memorials be made to: Dalhart Senior Citizens Association,610 Denrock Ave. Dalhart, TX 79022
