Paul McKeegan, 78, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Pampa, TXPrayer Vigil was held at 7:00 pm Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas.Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon FuneralHome - Dalhart, Texas. Paul McKeegan was born March 29, 1934 in Watonga, OK to Elmer and Violet (Martin) McKeegan. Paul attended schools in Dalhart and then joined the US Air Force. Paul was injured while on active duty and later returned to Dalhart. He is survived by his wife Placida McKeegan of Dalhart, TX Daughters Katie Montoya of Columbus, OH, Paula Rider of Columbus, OH, Marsha Hird of Herington, KS, Debbie Spencer, Carolyn Blanco, of Panhandle, TX, Silvia Delapaz of Amarillo, TX, Rita Steward of Canyon, TX, sons Paul Harvey McKeegan of Enid, OK, Johnny Samaniego, Lloyd Ray Samaniego, and Joe Samaniego all of Dalhart, TX, 38 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. His brothers Glen McKeegan of Bogata, TX, Albert McKeegan of North Freedom, WI, Wilbur McKeegan of Halletsville, TX, James McKeegan of Greenville, AL, sisters Oleta Scanlon of Reedsburg, WI, Donna Thompson of Merryville, LA, and Carroll Ailshie of Lubbock, TX.He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters - Susie Ramos and Joyce Faye Pedrosa and 2 sons - Paul and Matthew Samaniego, and a sister Leota Griffin
