Paul E. Ed Loggins, 83, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas.Graveside Services were held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery Dalhart, TX. Paul Edison Loggins was born February 20, 1927 in Bethesda, Arkansas to Joseph C. and Ann (Lynch) Loggins. Mr. Loggins attended school in Erick, OK and in 1944 he joined the US Navy. He served on the USS Kenmore in Guam. On December 5, 1946 he married Stella Moore in Sayre, OK. They ranched in Allen Reid, TX and later moved to Amarillo, then in 1958 they moved to Dalhart where Mr. Loggins worked with Meades Bakery and HWB Wholesale. Stella died in 1994. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, VFW, Elks and enjoyed coaching little league. He is survived by one son Paul R. Loggins of Dalhart, TX, 2 daughters Vicki Bohannon and her husband Hal of Belle Plaine, KS and Johnnye Turpin and her husband Howard of Amarillo, TX, and a special friend- Daphne Austin. 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.Memorials to:Thomas E.
