Parker Moon, 86, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 in Dalhart, TXServices were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at St. James Episcopal Church.Officiating was The Rev. Philip C. Ray, Rector, St. James Episcopal Church, Dalhart, Texas Parker Moon was born April 2, 1924 in Dalhart, TX to Earl K. and Anna Mae (Wynn) Moon. Parker was raised in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School. He was a veteran of the US Navy During WWII. Parker owned and operated a heating and air conditioning company for many years. He was a past member of the Dalhart Lions club, B.P.O.E. (Elks) and also served as a Lay Reader at St. James Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife Helen Moon of Dalhart, TX, a son Steven Moon of Jacksonville, FL and two daughters Cathy Osterhoudt of Lubbock, TX and Liz Bradley of Lubbock, TX, a brother Logan Moon of Jonesboro, AR. 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Mary, and a son Chuck, 1 brother and 1 sister.
