Ola Mae Heiskell, 85 died Thursday, October 7, 2004 with her family by her side. Graveside Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2004 at Memorial Park Cemetery Dalhart, Texas Rusty Hancock, Minister of the Lincoln St.Baptist Church of Dalhart, TX, will officiate. Ola Mae Heiskell was born February 2, 1919, in McKiney, Texas to Abe and Stella Gunn. She came to the Dalhart/ Hartley area as a young girl with her family. Ola Mae owned a caf, worked for Scottys Seven Eleven, and for Weldon and Oleta Dendy. She married Ralph Heiskell January 14, 1948 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She was a loving Grandmother & Great Grandmother and caregiver for her husband Ralph Heiskell during his illness.she is survived by her Daughter Mary Ruth Beller and son in law Joseph Neil Beller, Grandsons Joseph Andrew Beller and wife Erin of Amarillo, Scott Casey Beller and Christopher Ryan Beller of Lubbock, Six Great Grandchildren Breanne Nicole Beller, Faith Marie Beller, and Chrissa Brenae Beller of Dalhart, and Tyler Andrew Beller, Justin Bradley Beller, and Morgan Ashely Beller of Amarillo. Sisters Gladys Rogers and Margie Overstreet of Graham, Texas. Many nieces and nephews. Ola Mae was a member for many years of the First Baptist Church in DalhartPreceded: in death by her husband Ralph Heiskell, June 24, 1983, her parents-Abe Gunn and Stella Flowers, Sisters- Mildred Shirley and Mattie Pitchett, Brother-William Vernon Gunn.
