She attended Dalhart schools and lived here all of her life. She raised seven children and helped raise a number of grandchildren. Maxine was an avid bowler and baseball fan. She was called Mom by several adopted girls, Gale, Cindy and Ruby. She was loved by all, and always put everyone before herself. Maxine was a fighter to the end.
