Norma Uptain, 80 of Dalhart, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. The family will gather to share memories and receive friends at 10 o' clock in the morning on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Mrs. Uptain will lay in state from 10 o' clock in the morning until noon on Friday. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Norma My Uptain was born on September 8, 1941 to Frances and Irene Cor Uptain in Delores, CO. Norma was a homemaker most her life and was dedicated to her family. She is survived by her children: Janice Vogel and husband Tom of Dalhart, Becky Redenius and husband Donnis of Pipestone, MN, Keith Farmer and wife Tammy of Gillette, WY, Joannie Farmer of Amarillo, Eric Anson and Jessica Pettee of Gypsum, CO, and Lance Anson and Andrea Robinson of MI; one brother: Edward Earl Uptain and wife Peggy of Cheyanne, WY; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter Amy Redenius; three sisters: Dorothy Erps, Ina Slater. Teresa Blake; two brothers: Robert and Frank Uptain.
