Nadine Brandes Jones, 90, passed peacefully Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Dalhart, Texas. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Plainview Cemetery at Plainview, Texas. Nadine was born Saturday, September 7, 1929 in Lockney, TX to Leeona (Lloyd) and Clarence Brandes. She was raised in Floyd County with her twin sister Maxine along with her other sister Sue and brothers, Lloyd and Luther. Nadine loved traveling, fishing, pheasant hunting and going to the horse races, but all these things were special because she did them with family. Gathering with her family brought her so much joy. She is survived by her twin sister Maxine Jones of Lubbock, TX, her sister Sue Ramirez of Hereford, TX and her brother Lloyd Brandes and wife Donna of Dalhart, TX and by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and by great great nieces and nephews. Nadine is preceded in death by her parents, Leeona and Clarence Brandes and her brother Luther Brandes.
