Michael MIKE Gambrell, 58, died Friday, July 22, 2016 in Amarillo, TX.Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Saddle Mountain Cowboy Church in Channing, TX with Dan Shipley officiating. Burial followed in Channing Cemetery under the care of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXMichael Dwayne Gambrell was born May 14, 1958 in Dumas, Texas to Bobby and Patricia (Roach) Gambrell, he grew up in Greenville, TX and on September 23, 1983 he married Michelle Cantrell, they moved to Channing in 1986. Mike worked for the Channing ISD for 26 years.A simple man, Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. His hobbies included working on cars and building model cars.
