Allan Cordova, 63, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 in Dalhart, TXGraveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Officiating - Monsignor Michael Colwell, Pastor - St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas.Mike Allan Cordova was born October 16, 1952 in Clovis, NM to Mike and Ruth (Martinez) Cordova. Allan was raised in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1969. Mr. Cordova raised his children in El Paso, TX where he worked as an electrical engineer with Ft. Bliss and White Sands Missile Range. Allan returned to Dalhart in the mid 90s to help with be closer to family. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed western movies and music. His favorite sport teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Braves. He is survived by his son Allan Cordova of Mesquite, TX and a daughter Ivette Diaz of Mesquite, TX, his mother Ruth Cordova of Dalhart, TX and his sisters: Jeanette Griego of Pampa, TX , Lena Kai Melton of Dalhart, TX and Levonne Cordova of Ft. Smith, AR. 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by is father, a granddaughter Mary P. Martinez and his son David Cordova.
