Mike Bailey Age: 73 Died: Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Dalhart, TexasFuneral services were held at 2:00 pm, Saturday April 12, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart, TX, burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery - Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home.Officiating was Sean Vickers Pastor at First Baptist Church, Dalhart, TXRobert Michael Bailey was born on October 20, 1940 in Paris, Texas to Robert Claude and Mildred Jimmie (Golden) Bailey. He graduated high school in Dimmit, TX, and started farming. Mike then moved to Dalhart in 1963 where he farmed with his father. He met the love of his life, Jane Hunt in 1964 and they were married on February 13, 1965. In 1973, Mike and his brother Jack started Bailey Flying Service, an agricultural aviation service in Dalhart, TX. Mike retired in 1997 and he and Jane traveled extensively afterwards. Preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren Alise and Anson Hamilton.Survivors include his wife Jane Bailey, Daughters- Sharon Smith and her husband Tom, Sandy Hamilton and her husband Tommy. Son- Bob Bailey and his wife Susan. Grandchildren- Ty Smith, Kelsi Supernant, Ayden, Alexa, and Annsly Hamilton, Madelyn and Mitchell Bailey. Great Grandchildren- Cienna and Lily Supernant. Brothers- Kenneth Bailey and his wife Beverly, Jack Bailey and his wife Debbie. One nephew and three nieces. donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
