Michele Fay Underlee, 61, died Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Dalhart, TX. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Michele Fay Underlee was born Tuesday, June 16, 1959 in Fargo, North Dakota to Leslie and Yvonne (Lhotka) Underlee. Michele "Mickey" Underlee was born on her mothers birthday and her parents 4th anniversary and attended kindergarten through high school in Henderson, Minnesota, during her senior year she took classes at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and graduated in 1980 with a major in accounting and minor in bookkeeping. Michele started taking piano lessons in Henderson in first grade and was a great sight reader, after she mastered the piano, she began organ lessons in Fargo, North Dakota. "Mickey" accompanied many soloists and played for weddings etc. She moved to Dalhart in 1989 to be near her parents, she worked for H&R Block for several tax seasons, she worked for Hastings and handled the books for the Underlee farm operations. Mickey will be deeply missed by family and friends. Michele was an only child and is survived by her parents Les and Teddy Underlee, three Aunts and one uncle and 27 cousins.
