Michelle Peeples, 46, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Dalhart, TexasPrayer Vigil was held at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas.Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas. Officiating - Monsignor Michael Colwell, Pastor - St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas.Lisa Michelle Blackwell was born September 7, 1967 in Palestine, TX to Barry and Sandra (Arnold) Blackwell. She grew up in Dalhart, graduated from Dalhart High school in 1986, and attended Texas Tech University where she received her BS in Education. She married Jay Peeples on June 28, 1991 in Dalhart, Texas. Michelle was a member of St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, and taught at the St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic School. Her desire to provide help and support for others was evident in her involvement in the Twilight Fund to help local people with travel expenses for cancer treatment and fund raising at the David Peeples Memorial Golf tournament. Michelle also had a special heart for all animals and especially animals in need. Michelle was a very passionate person and loved her family deeply, her artful soul and love of music was her trademark. Survivors include her husband Jay, daughters Kelsey Dyan Peeples and Tatum Abby Peeples all of Dalhart.Her parents Barry E. and Sandra J.
