Michael "Smiley" Tijerina

Michael “Smiley” Tijerina, 61, of Seth Ward, passed away on August 10, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas. Smiley will be brought home to Plainview, where his services will be held and he will be laid to rest.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at New Covenant Church in Plainview, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00 am at New Covenant Church with Pastor Jim Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, Texas. The family has placed the care of their beloved father in the compassionate hands of Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
