Michael Mike Montoya, 66, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Amarillo, TX.Funeral Services were held at Lincoln Street Baptist Church on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM burial did follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the care of Horizon Funeral Home.Mike was a loving dad, son, brother, and uncle. He was a hard worker and was a jack of all trades, he loved waking up at 4am and getting his day started. He had so many crazy stories and jokes, and of course he had the most contagious laugh. He adored his children/ grandchildren and spending time with them, his life revolved around his family.A lifelong resident of Dalhart, TX, Mike is survived by his loving wife Matilda Tillie Montoya, sons: George Montoya, Clifford Montoya, Brent Montoya, and Chris (Carlyn) Lucero; daughters: Jennifer (Jeromy) Trujillo-Sandoval, Anna Lopez, Stephanie Montoya, Bettyivon Montoya; sisters: Vicky (Grayson) Maldonado, Edith Lawrence, and Debbie Ortiz. He has 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his beloved son Sean Montoya, parents Joe and Betty Montoya of Dalhart, Tx.
