Mike Ellis, 52, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 in Dalhart, Texas.Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TX.Michael Eugene Ellis was born April 25, 1957 in Tucumcari, NM to W.D. Ellis and Betty Christopher. Michael grew up in the Texas and New Mexico Area and finished his schooling at Boys Ranch. He has spent most of his life around Dalhart where he worked in the cattle feeding business. He had a special love for animals and being with friends He is survived by his sister Barbara and her husband Robert Jenkins of Liberal, KS - brother Bill Ellis of Greensburg, KS nephews Michael Bagwell, Danny Ellis, Todd Jenkins Nieces Stephanie Ellis and Christy Ellis and a great-Niece - Tegan Bagwell Michael is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.A memorial fund has been established at Happy State BankMichael Ellis Memorial FundHappy State Bankc/o Barbara Jenkins
