Maurice Wilson, 87 passed away Monday, September 19, 2005 in Dalhart, TXGraveside Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005 at the High Ridge Cemetery in Stanberry, Missouri. Services directed by Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas.Officiating was James Mangum, Pastor of the Three Angels Church in St. Joseph, Missouri. Maurice Kelsie Wilson, Sr. was born to Raymond Kelsie and Ethyl May (Alsbury) Wilson on July 30, 1918 in Conception Junction, Missouri. He moved to Colorado with his parents as a teenager and spent most of his life in Colorado and California, returning to Missouri after retirement. He partnered in the construction business as well as real estate and mobile home sales. For many years, he owned his own airplane and loved to fly and to travel to visit family and friends.Survivors include his Wife: Madonna Nelson Wilson whom he married in 1986 in Loma Linda, CA. Son: Maurice K. & Wife JoAnn Wilson, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA; Daughter: Elaine & her husband Lynn Greenlee of Canon City, Colorado Stepson: Donald Ray & Emma Nelson of Dalhart, TX Brother: Robert & his wife Cheryl Wilson of Battle Creek, Michigan. 8 Grandchildren, 2 Step-Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild.
