Mary Jane Zinser, 70, Died Sunday April 20, 2014 in Dalhart, Texas. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas. Officiating was Ron Hein, Deacon, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home. Mary Jane Ortega was born in Dalhart, Texas on June 15, 1943 to Pete and Amy Ortega. She grew up and attended schools in Dalhart. Mary married Henry George Zinser on November 10, 1965 in Dalhart, Texas, he died in 1977. They had three children and loved raising them. Mary was a nurses aide at Coon Memorial Nursing Home in Dalhart for many years and assisted in caring for many families, she retired in the mid-nineties. Mary will be missed by many for all the wonderful things she did and the people she touched. Preceded in death by her parents Pete and Amy Ortega, Husband Henry George Zinser, beloved Aunt Mary Ann Vance, Sister Pauline and her husband Charles Ringo.Mary is survived by he son John David Zinser of Amarillo, TX. Daughters- Valerie Ann Miller of Alabama, GA, and Paula Jane Zinser Stady and her husband Mark of Dalhart, TX. Sister Debbie Aduddell and her husband Cleo of Stratford, TX. Six Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
