Mary Rojas, 74, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 in Dalhart, Texas. Services were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Burial was in in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXOfficiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, TX. Mary Rojas was born December 5, 1936 in Corpus Christie, TX to Marcos and Maria Rojas. She grew up in Laredo and Dalhart. Mary worked for Coon Memorial Nursing Home for over 40yrs and was a medical assistant. She attended the Baptist Church and enjoyed helping others. Survivors include her sons: Ernest and his wife Ginger Rojas of Canyon, TX and Reuben and his wife Judy Rojas of Dalhart, TX. A sister Lucy Romero of Rochester, NY. Brothers: Santos Rojas of Las Cruces, NM and Poncho Rojas of Dalhart, TX. 4 grandchildren Caleb, Brandon, Eric and Alexa. Numerous nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters
