Mary Margaret Phipps, 83, Died Thursday November 28, 2013 in Bedford, TXGraveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 At Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home in Dalhart, TX.Margaret was born on December 13, 1929 in Bailey County to Walter Reese and Minnie May (Hickman) Underdown. She was raised in Muleshoe, TX. On January 19, 1950 Margaret married Hal Phipps in Clovis, NM; they moved to Dalhart, TX in 1980.Margaret was an avid bridge player.Survivors include a daughter- Elaine Williams and her husband Johnny of Bedford, TX, a son- Terry Phipps of Dalhart, TX. Four sisters- Evelyn Davis of Pensacola, FL, Doris Jackson of Lubbock, TX, Dorothy Martin and her Husband Lon of San Angelo, TX, and Rita Little of Dalhart, TX. Two grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
