Mary Helen Rose Frost, 86, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Dalhart, TX, where she resided for the past 3 years. Services were held at 2 pm (MDT) Monday May 2 in United Methodist Church, San Jon, NM with Pastor Rex Frost, Brandon Seventh Day Adventist Church, Brandon, FL officiating. Burial followed in the San Jon Cemetery by Horizon Funeral Directors. Mary Helen was born October 1, 1924 in Hart, Texas to Allen Jefferson and Laura Bessie (Witt) Rose. She married Lloyd Wilson Frost October 22, 1938 in Portales, NM. Mary was a devoted wife, homemaker and wonderful mother of four sons. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; son, Stanley and his wife, Bonnie; 1 grandson; 1 great-granddaughter; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by: sons, Gary and wife Carol of Dalhart, TX; Ronald and wife Gloria of Edgewood, NM; Rex and wife Donna of Valrico, FL; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to the San Jon Sr. Citizens Center ~ 1211 E.
