Mary Frances Bolz, 68, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas Prayer Vigil was held at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 26, 2008 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas.Mass was held at St. Anthonys Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2008 with Father Scott L. Raef, Pastor of St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, TX - Under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home Dalhart, Texas. Mary Frances Callis was born January 15, 1940 in Perico, TX to Charles Slack Callis and Emily Ann Barth Callis. Raised in Perico, Mary Frances graduated from Texline High School in 1956. She graduated from WT in 1961 and in 1962 she married Billy Bolz. Mary Frances taught at Amistad, NM and Alamo Catholic School in Amarillo, TX. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hayden, NM and the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Nara Visa, NM where she also taught catechism classes. Mary Frances was active in many organizations including the Study Club, Extension Club, Red Hat Society and the Nara Visa Gardening Club. Friends, students, and family alike were enriched by her love for Teaching. She enjoyed Gardening and her cats. Survivors include her husband Billy Bolz of Amistad, NM - daughter Anna and her husband Billy Bret Thoreson of Amarillo, TX - sons: William Bustie Bolz and George Bennie Bolz of Amistad, NM. 3 Grandchildren: Tessa Thoreson of Guymon, OK, Trina and Billy Thoreson of Amarillo, TX Cousin: Dean Chester of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 uncles Joe, Alfred, and Clarence Barth.
