Mary L. Anderson, 79, of Dalhart, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2021 with her family by her side. Mary was born to Louise (Giovainni) and Raymond Kaylor on Saturday, May 23, 1942 in Akron, Ohio. Mary moved to Dalhart in 1995 and was the store manager for Frontier Fuel for over 10 years. She loved being outside sitting with her family, having a barbeque and working in her flowerbeds. She was a pitcher for her softball team during her school years and liked to watch women's softball on tv. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and was an avid lifelong fan! Mary is survived by her daughter, Julie and husband Phillip, granddaughter, Desiree and husband Ray, granddaughter, Melissa and husband Joe, grandson, Sheldon and girlfriend Cathy, great granddaughters; Berkley and Mae Mae, great grandsons; Trey, Trent and Kaylor Lee. Her son Herby Thacker, grandsons; Wesley and Evan, daughter-in-law, Amy. Her sister and Kemosahbee, Jackie, brothers; Ray and Johnnie, her favorite Aunt Judy, sister-in-law, Anna, many cousins and family friend Scott. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, late husband Bill and beloved dog Layla. She was the best Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister and Friend.
