Marjorie Rhea Davis, 85 died Sunday November 5th, 2006 in Houston, TX Graveside Services were held at 1:45 pm on Wednesday, November 8th, 2006 in the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX With Rev. Payne, Retired Baptist Minister - Under the direction of Ollinger Funeral Home of San Antonio, TX and Horizon Funeral Home Dalhart, Texas Survivors include - a cousin Earlene Caddell of Dalhart, TX 2 nieces: Jeanie Odom and Martha Brackeen both of Cisco, TX and cousins: Caylene Caddell of Lubbock TX and Kevin Caddell of Dalhart, TX Preceded in death by her husband, her parents and 2 brothers: Gene Damron and Francis DamronMarjorie Rhea Damron was born October 1, 1921 in Texola, OK to Earnest and Mattie (White) Damron. Marjorie was raised in Paducah, TX and graduated from Paducah High School. On July 9, 1941 she married Raymond N. Stormy Davis in Paducah. Raymond joined the U.S. Marines and was a Career Officer so they lived all over the world before retiring to Cisco, TX. Mr. Davis died in 1973. Marjorie did volunteer work for the Cisco museum and the local VFW for years. In 1991 she moved to Dalhart.
