It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Like announced her passing on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born March 2,1938 in Monet, Missouri.
Marilyn worked along side her husband Phil Like for 32 years, where they owned and operated their car dealership. She also started a small business of her own collecting and selling rare antiques. She enjoyed spending time involved in the community. She loved spending her time involved at the La Rita Theatre. She was a long-time, devoted member of St. James Episcopal Church and served on Alter Guild, Vestry and Episcopal Church Women.
Anyone that knew Marilyn knew she had an amazing eye for design, class, and style. She had many passions in life and found enjoyment in gardening, antiquing, hosting social gatherings, and a love of Texas history. She loved to travel with her husband, taking delight in the different cultures and experiences. She also enjoyed making lifetime memories with the grandchildren and proud of the accomplishments they achieved.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 46 years Phil Like, a daughter and two sons: Linda Westrich and her husband Bob, their children: Shana and Cassi, 4 great grandchildren Brandon, Brianna, Allison and Brady. Kent Crosswhite and wife Caye, their children: Paige and Ray. Brad Crosswhite and wife Marsha, their children: Andrew and Hannah.
Preceding her in death, a son Larry Like and grandchild Casey Like.
