Maria Elena (Molly) Orozco de Portillo, 52, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Dalhart, Texas.A Prayer Vigil was held on Tuesday, April 20, 7:00 pm St. Anthonys Catholic Church , Dalhart, Texas.Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 am of Wednesday, April 21 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church with Fr. David Contreras.Maria Orozco was born on July 3, 1957 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Ruperta Orozco. She married Leonardo Portillo on December 8, 1978 in Chihuahua. Maria always loved to smile. She loved her grandchildren and was a best friend, a helper and an angel Maria was a faithful Catholic and devout to La Virgen de Guadalupe. Survivors include her husband Leonardo of Dalhart, TX - Daughters Rosalia Portillo Orozco of Chihuahua, Laura Portillo Amaya and her husband Arturo of Dalhart, TXGrandson: Felipe Humberto Vazquez of Chihuahuathree granddaughters Daniela Vazquez of Chihuahua Isabela Amaya and Abigail Amaya both of Dalhart, TX Brothers Alfredo, Daniel, Guadalupe and Alejandro Orozco of Chihuahua Sisters: Bertha, Ruperta, Manuela and Adelaida Orozco of Chihuahua She is preceded in death by a grandson Daniel Vazquez, 2 brothers, 1 sister and her parents.The Portillo Family requests memorials to - S.A.I.N.T.S.
