Maria DeLaLuz Perez, aged 73, born in Edinburg, Texas to Estevan Perez and Felipa Resendez, passed away on September 24, 2024, in Dalhart, Texas.

Maria is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Timoteo Adame, Ramon Adame, Clemente R. Adame, Rose Marie Gonzales, Herminia Castillo, and Jessie S. Adame.

Maria was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend. What made her happiest in life were her nieces and nephews whom she called her children. She was like a second mother to most of her nieces and nephews. She was always there to give a helping hand.
