Manuel Phat Carillo, 25, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Amarillo, TX. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Dalhart, TX. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart, Texas. Survivors include his mother Simona Cancino Carillo, his father Jose Carrillo, sisters - Julia Carrillo and Jacqueline Aguilera, his brothers - Gabriel Carrillo and Anthony Aguilera, a nephew Gerardo Andrew Jr. He is also survived by 35 cousins, 4 aunts, 4 uncles and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, an aunt, an uncle and 2 cousins. Jose Emanuel Carrillo was born April 15, 1988 in Allentown, PA to Jose and Simona (Cancino) Carrillo. he graduated from Dalhart High School and was employed by Hunter construction. His hobbies included riding his bike and playing football with his brother and his nephew. Manuel enjoyed friends and family and everyone enjoyed his big bear hugs! A loving and caring person, phat was a friend you could count on, and a loving son to his mother, who was his whole world.
