Maggie Trujillo, 91 Died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 in Channing, TexasGraveside Services were at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2004 at Channing Cemetery, Channing, Texas, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home.Father Ron Matthews, Pastor of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, at Prayer Town, Texas Officiated.Maggie Trujillo was a longtime Channing resident - She had operated a beauty shop in Channing in the 60's and had served as Commodity Supervisor for Hartley County Welfare Department , assistant to the secretary for County School Superintendent and Justice of the Peace of Hartley County. Maggie was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and helped her husband run his water well service before he died in 1987. She is survived by a Grandson- Benny Moore & his wife Connie of Channing, Texas 3 Great-Grandchildren: Julia & Brooke Moore of Channing and Benny Paul Alexander. A Niece: Jody Avent of Arlington, TX 3 sisters: Frances Chavez , Elva McCown, and Mary Kay Thryhern all of Amarillo, TX and 1 brother: Albert Ortega of Amarillo, TX Preceded in death by: her husband Ben Trujillo , a daughter: Bennie Adele Moore, a granddaughter: Cozette Alexander and her parents.
