Burial was at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Central United Methodist Church, Rick Enns officiated. Lural (Dryden) Enns was born January 19, 1926 in Hugoton, Kansas. She passed on to Glory on June 2, 2019. Lural graduated high school in Guymon, Oklahoma and attended Bethany College in Oklahoma City. Lural and Robert (Bob) Eugene Enns were married on Christmas Day in 1946. Lural is survived by her husband Bob and by her children: Ron Enns and wife Margaret of Dalhart, Texas; Marilyn McCarty and husband Carl of Texline, Texas; Debbie Bailey and husband Jack of Dumas, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Lural was a dedicated member of Central United Methodist church for over 50 years. She sang in the choir and was a member of the Open Door Sunday School Class. As a 4-H leader, Lural taught sewing and cooking classes to several generations of children and received the State Outstanding Leader Award in 1971. She was also a Home Demonstration Club member. With her husband Bob, they were named the Outstanding Farmers of the Year by the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce in 1993. Lural and Bob were active volunteers in the community on the Fair Board, Dalhart Senior Citizens and Meals on Wheels. Lural also volunteered as a "Pink Lady" at the hospital. The family expresses their love and appreciation to Lucy Romero for her years of caregiving and love for our Mom.
