Lucile Paulk, 87, died Friday, March 11, 2011 in Dalhart, Texas.Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Theresa Lucile Keyser was born in Romero, TX on July 1, 1923 to J.W. Dutch and Gladys (Ross) Keyser. She married Ray Paulk in Clovis, NM on December 7, 1941; the day Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. Ray used to say that he and Lucile declared war the same day the United States did! She and Ray lived the life of a military family, moving from base to bas before settling in Dalhart. Survivors include her sons: Charles and his wife Karan Paulk of Kimberly, ID, James and his wife Donna Paulk of Amarillo, TX, Johnny Paulk and Donald Paulk of Dalhart. Daughters Mary K. Shelton and husband Jimmy of Amarillo, TX and Maggie Paulk of Dalhart, TX. Daughter-in-law: Beth Paulk of Temple, TX - 20 Grandchildren and 32 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, and sons - Malcolm, David, Robbie and Mike.
