Lovie Ruth Galloway, 94- died Friday, November 11, 2005 at Coon Memorial Nursing Home in Dalhart, TexasGraveside - Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2005 in the Old Dimmitt Cemetery Dimmitt, Texas with Pete Curtis officiating.Lovie Ruth Mayfield was born April 18, 1911 in Odell, Texas to Will & Penelope (Drake) Mayfield. Raised in the Dawn-Hereford area, Lovie and her family moved to Dimmitt, Texas in the early 30s. She married Laban Henry Galloway in 1933. Lovie resided in the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico area all of her adult life. After retiring she moved to Hartley to live with her Daughter and then in 1978 she moved to Dalhart. She moved into Coon Memorial Home in 1996.
