Louis Gray, 53, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Channing, Texas.Burial followed in Channing Cemetery, Channing, Texas Officiating was Rev. Tim Hooten, Pastor First Baptist Church, Channing, Texas. Henry Louis Gray was born June 30, 1955 in Dalhart, Texas to Clyde Vinson Vinnie Gray and Virginia Ruth (Ward) Gray. Louis was raised in Channing, Texas and graduated from Channing High School in 1973. In 1980 he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and Physics and in 1986 received his Masters in Computer Science from East Texas State University. On August 20, 1973 he and Nancy Ondracek were married. Louis worked for Northrup Grummen as a Sr. Software Engineer. An avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed canoeing and camping, Dutch Oven cooking, reading and participating in historical re-enactments. Mr. Gray was a volunteer leader and trainer for the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.He is survived by his wife Nancy Gray of Allen, Texas daughter: Kathrin Sprouse and her husband Ron of Fairview, TX - son: JR Gray of Allen, Texas mother: Virginia Ruth Ward Gray of Channing, TX - Grandson: Vinson Sprouse of Fairview, TX sister: Joan Gray-Soria and her husband Anthony of Pampa, TX Uncles: Junior Gray of Dalhart, TX and Bob Gray of Wichita Falls , TX - Nephew: Tony Soria of Pampa, TX Father and Mother in law: Francis and Mary Jo Ondracek and brother in law Phillip Ondracek all of Dalhart, TX Preceded in death by his father -
