Raised 50 miles from Hereford and attended Adrian School, he graduated in 1959 after graduation he moved to Amarillo. Lloyd worked at the smelter, -but cowboyd most of his life, he came to Dalhart in 1969 to work for Ronnie Farris. Then worked for Curtis Chisum and then he went to work for Nortex Feed where he worked 17 years. He loved life, animals, people and children.
