Lisa Valles, 55 of Dalhart, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Lawrence John celebrating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o' clock in the evening on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Everyone knew Lisa as being a loving momma, a caring person, kindhearted and "the burrito lady." This town will miss her cooking. She always put other peoples needs before her own and tried to find the good in people. Lisa was the glue to holding her family together and enjoyed making some of the best food for them. There was never a dull moment with her around; always making jokes and laughing. She would even laugh at other peoples jokes even if it wasnt funny but just to make them feel good. Lisa was a loving person, everyones counselor, and a true walking angel in this world. She tried to make the good in everything. Lisa was known and loved by many people and will be missed. She is preceded in death by her mother: Lela Sandoval; grandmother; Lucy Sena; two sons: Israel and Ismael Valles. Lisa is survived by her husband: Israel Valles; one son: Israel Lee "Izzy" Valles; father: Alfred Sandoval; two brothers: David Sandoval and PJ Mares; four sisters: Carol Mares and husband Patrick L., Paula Mares, Paulette Cervantes and husband Efrain, Kelly Bonney and husband John.
