Lisa Hill Lovato, 54, passed away in Dallas, TX at Baylor University Medical Center Hospital on February 5, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service was held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Dalhart, Texas. A short graveside service followed at Memorial Park Cemetery. Lisa Marlene Hill was born to Lee and Dorothy Hill on February 14, 1961 in Dalhart, Texas. She married Anthony R. Lovato on April 14, 1979. She was a member of the graduating class of 1979 of Dalhart High School. She furthered her education at Texas Tech University. Lisa is survived by her husband Anthony of Dalhart; son, Brian Lovato and wife, Alysha of Amarillo; daughter, Jenna Lovato and husband, Michael Henderson of Plano; sister, LeJean Richardson and husband, Jack of Amarillo; brother, Ronald Hill and wife, Barbie of San Antonio; brother, Laurin Hill and wife, Sheri of Lincoln, Illinois; uncle, Bill Haynes and wife, Pat of Titusville, Florida; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pete and Gilly Lovato of Dalhart; Roxanne and husband, Orlando Tapia of Cabot, AR, Dorothy Lovato Roberts of Amarillo, Kathryn Lichter of Lake Charles, IL, Louis Lovato and wife, Stacey of Carrolton, Nancy and husband David Clark of Houston, six nieces, eight nephews, three great-nieces and two great-nephews; many cousins and many wonderful friends. Lisa was a member of the First Christian Church where she led the adult choir for many years, was a former church secretary and a member of the Missionary Guild. She accepted Jesus as her Lord at a young age and she was an outstanding example to all who came in contact with her of a strong, gracious, faith-filled woman who believed God and His promises. Because of her illness, Lisa had been unable to sing for the last several years, now she is free of pain and is in heaven singing, praising God with the angels. Words cannot express her love for her family and their love for her. Her husband and children call her magnificent. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Dorothy (Haynes) Hill, grandparents, M.E. and Inez Hill and W.R. and Ruby Haynes. The family requests memorials go to the First Christian Church Music Ministry or the Dalhart Meals on Wheels.
