Linda Carol Tomlin, 56, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at her home in Amarillo, TX. Celebration Services were held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012 at the New Life Fellowship Church in Dalhart, TX. A Private Family Committal was held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of Horizon Funeral Home Dalhart, TXVisitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Horizon Funeral Home.Linda was born in Dalhart, TX to Rebecca and Fermin Montano. After graduating she moved to Amarillo where she met her future husband Don Tomlin. They were married March 3, 1979. After having four children they resided in Dalhart for many years. After the graduation of their three eldest children they relocated back to Amarillo,Linda loved her family with all her heart. She was very devoted to spending time with her mother and father. She was an accomplished poet and author with publishing made through the International Library of PoetryLinda was a beautiful, loving, stubborn soul who will always and greatly be missed.Survivors include her loving husband Don of Amarillo, TX her four children, Daniel, Charlene, Marsha and Meagan; her grandchildren, Alyssa and Rayson; her farther Fermin; her 5 brothers and sisters, James, Loretta, Kendall, Sandy and Max; and many nieces and nephews.
