Linda Vess Reubell

Linda Vess Reubell, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025, in Dalhart, Texas. Her life will be celebrated privately by her family at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Dalhart Funeral Home.

Linda was born to Pauline and Gerald Bolar in Alva, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 21, 1947. She grew up in a busy household with her four siblings. On May 18, 1967 she married Harold Lee Vess Jr. in Clovis, NM. Together they grew their family by adding two sons, Harold and Christopher. Linda was a long time Dalhart resident and an active member of First Christian church. Many may remember her smiling face greeting you at the skating rink back in the 1980s. Linda loved to read, play cards, games, word find and she loved hot air balloons and fulfilled a bucket list item when she took to the skies in her very own hot air balloon ride. Linda had so many wonderful qualities that will be deeply missed by her family and friends to name just a few, she had a true servant’s heart and loved helping and taking care of others in any way she could. She was always smiling and had the best sense of humor. Linda loved her family so very much, they brought so much joy to her life, as did she to theirs.

Linda is survived by her two sons; Harold Lee Vess III (Dedra) and Christopher Allen Vess both of Dalhart, seven grandchildren: Bud, Amanda, Angel, Jennifer, Chelsie, Christopher and Keifer, seven great grandchildren, three sisters and one sister-in-law: Beverly, Connie (Roger), Penny (Ricky), and Robin, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Harold Lee Vess Jr., her parents Gerald and Pauline Bolar, and brother Rick Bolar.
