Linda Marie Miller, 66, died on Monday, October 23, 2017 in Dalhart, TX. Funeral Services were at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Lincoln Street Baptist Church. Officiating was be Rusty Hancock. Burial did follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TX. Arrangements provided by Horizon Funeral Home Dalhart, TX. Linda Marie Murray was born on March 11, 1951 in Dalhart, TX to Joe & Dorothy (Hancock) Murray. She lived in the Texas Panhandle her entire life including Amarillo, Stratford but mostly in Dalhart. Linda worked at various jobs but was most known for being a cook, donut maker and owner of Lucky You Amusements. Linda was known to have a "heart of gold" and was generous beyond belief. She has always had a special place in her heart for the Dalhart Fire Department. She was a lover of cats and could not turn away a stray. Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles Stewart; 2 sons- Paul Brown and Curtis Brown & wife, DeNisa all of Dalhart; 4 sisters- Ann Vasquez & husband, Oscar, Penny Romero & husband, Jerry, Jody Salas & Terri Griggs & her husband, Roy all of Dalhart; 1 brother in-law, Lewis Stewart of Amarillo and 1 sister in-law, Gwen Stewart of Georgetown, TX. Also, 8 grandchildren- Samatha Kanzler & husband, Ryan of Kingman, AZ, William Brown of Lubbock, Kayli Brown of Dalhart, Janice Krallman & husband, Mike of Norfolk, VA, Amber Hale & husband, Robert of San Antonio, TX, Dustin Brown of Hutchinson, KS, Hannah Brown of Dalhart and Amanda Davenport of Dalhart. She was blessed with 6 great-grandchildren- Shandy, Carter, Brooklyn, Noble, Eryx & Sawyer. Linda was loved by many more including her nieces and nephews that were always so special to her; her many cousins- that were closer than cousins, and many friends and co-workers that were more like family. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Angela, a son, Billy and a sister, Dorothy.
