Lila Agnes Cooley, 82 died on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in Amarillo, TXFuneral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2006 at The First Baptist Church in Hartley, Texas with John Will Bookout, Pastor Hartley Christian Church, Hartley, TX officiating.Burial followed at 4:00 pm in Debolt Cemetery - Arnett, Oklahoma.with Rick Floyd, Pastor - First Baptist Church in Arnett, OK, officiating. Lila Agnes Campbell was born April 30, 1923 in Arnett, OK. Her parents were John and Elva (Rucker) Campbell. Lila married Oren Cooley on November 2nd, 1940 in Arnett. They farmed and ranched south of Arnett until 1952 when they began managing various ranches in the Texas Panhandle and Kansas. They ranched in Texline before moving to Hartley in 1964. Lila worked for the Hartley Truck Stop Caf for over 20 yrs. she retired in 1995. She attended the First Baptist Church in Hartley. She is Survived by - Sons: Oren and his wife June Cooley of Dawn, TX Berkley Buck and his wife Mary Cooley of Johnstown, CO and Danny and his wife Kae Cooley of Hartley, TX Daughter:: Glenda & her husband James Spriggs of Marfa, TX Brother: T.V.
