Lee Thompson, 65, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Amarillo, Texas Graveside Services were held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 15, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX. Officiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, TexasSurvivors include his Wife Shirley Thompson of Dalhart, TX. Two grandchildren were raised by Lee and Shirley - Geoffrey and Crystal Boulware, both of Dalhart, TX and three other grandchildren.Lee Thompson was raised in El Paso, TX and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Lee was a ranch hand and truck driver who enjoyed Heavy Haul Trucking. He married Shirley Heller on March 18, 1985 in Logan, NM. Lee enjoyed his animals, and taking his Mules on the Annual St. Judes Trail Ride.
