Lawrence "Lancho" Ernest Garcia passed away July 19, 2023 in Dalhart, Texas at the age of 65. Lawrence Lancho was born December 22, 1957 in Clayton, New Mexico. In his younger years he loved to play football and baseball. He loved to sit outside and listen to rock n roll music. He worked in construction his whole life. He had 16 brothers and sisters. His family and friend, but especially his nieces and nephews would always say "Uncle Lanch, give us the kick." He would then proceed to give us a high kick followed by "waa waa". We all loved this and laughed with him. We all think he loved it just as much as we did. He was also known for saying "what's goin' on little jito/jita." He was a good son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his siblings: Becky Romero of Dalhart, TX, Shirley Luera of Dalhart, TX, Danny and wife Marie of Borger, TX, Judy Gallegos of Amarillo, TX, Cleo Garcia of Amarillo, TX, Paula Isbell of Dalhart, TX, Virginia and husband Carl Encinias of Dalhart, TX, Gloria and husband Alfredo of Princeton, TX, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins He is proceeded in death by: parents Adolph and Ester Garcia, brothers: Anthony, Robert, Orlondo, Junior, Alex, and Tommy and sisters: Dorothy and Delores Family will be gathering a Carl and Virginia Encinias's house at 1005 Denrock to celebrate his life and share memories.
