Lauren Carter, 60, died Friday, April 28, 2017 in Dalhart, TX. Funeral Services were held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 1st, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home. Lauren Kaye Hall was born November 28, 1956 in Amarillo, TX to M.C. and Wanda (Carter) Hall. Lauren grew up in Amarillo, TX and graduated from Palo Duro High School. She married Eddie Carter on March 20, 1982 in Amarillo, TX. They moved to Dalhart in 1984. She worked at United Supermarket for over 30yrs. Lauren enjoyed family gatherings, vacations, puzzles, family game night, reading, listening to books on tape, music and singing Karaoke. She was an avid bowler and had won many awards. Lauren was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading the bible and telling people about Jesus. Survivors include her husband Eddie Carter of Dalhart, TX, her father M.C. Hall of Amarillo, TX, a brother: Troy Hall of Amarillo, TX. 4 daughters Treava and her husband Ben Gomez of Dalhart, TX, Charlie Carter of Amarillo, TX, Trisha and her husband Jeremy Davis of Canyon, TX and Cherylann and her husband Glenn Pyle of Hartley, TX and a son Greg Carter of Dalhart, TX as well as 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren Lauren is preceded in death by her grandparents, mother- Wanda Hall, a brother Danny Hall, a Grandson Blake Pyle, and a granddaughter Mykaily Davis.
