Larry Griffis, 70 of Dalhart, passed away on August 8, 2023. No services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Larry was born on November7, 1952 to Lloyd and Helena Agnes Griffis in Tooele, UT. He graduated from Delta High School in Delta, CO. He was a welder most of his life and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, The Colorado Rocky Mountains, playing the guitar and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Agnes Griffis. Larry is survived by his children: Heather Knopp and husband Derek of Clifton, CO, Doug Griffis and wife Kim of Paonia, CO, and Liesa Brueckmann of Grand Junction, CO; brothers: Jerry Griffis and wife Kellie of Dalhart and Pete Griffis of Delta, CO; sister: Robin Kiser and husband Russ of Columbia Falls, MT; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
