LaDonna McClure, 71, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Dalhart, TX with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral arrangements entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home.Officiating will be Kurtis Abla, Minister - First Baptist Church, Dalhart, TexasLaDonna was born in Dalhart on February 26, 1943 to Jurden and Kathryn (Ainsworth) Harvey. They moved to Texline when she was 10 years old and moved back to Dalhart when she was 16 years old and on Nov. 9, 1963 she married Bert E McClure in Dalhart Texas. They moved to Pampa Texas in 1976 and then to Turpin Oklahoma 1985, Bert died in 2001 and LaDonna remained in Turpin until June 2013 when she moved in with her Son and Daughter in law of Edmond, OK. LaDonna was a CMA from the age of 16 to 63 when she retired. LaDonna enjoyed spending time with her family - her favorite holidays were Christmas and Thanksgiving, her special joy was being driven around to look at Christmas lights. She loved to watch and bet on horse races. A Techy grandma she could text as much as a teenager, could not go anywhere without herlabtop, (yes LaBtop) and she had to have her kindle to be able to read.Kids and grand kids all received a call on their birthday and she would sing happybday to them every year without fail and she sent a text message to everyone everyday"GOOD MORNING HAVE A GOOD DAY, LOVE YOU" and every night "GOOD NIGHT LOVE YOU"She is survived by her sons - Larry and his wife Melissa McClure of Edmond, OK,and Bert and his wife Sue Ann McClure of Noblesville, IN, daughters - Eyvonne and her husband Joseph Knox of Newcastle, OK and Charmane and her husband James McDade of Newcastle, OK.A brother - Levi and wife Dorothy Harvey of Howardwick, TX 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildrenLaDonna is preceded in death by her husband Bert, her parents, two brothers: Ronald Lynn and Jurden Harvey and a Son: Mark McClure.
