Kyle Krahn, 54, died Thursday, August 4, 2016 Funeral services were held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church with Ryan Strebeck, Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater, Texas. Burial did follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas. Kyle Leslie Krahn was born February 11, 1962 in Atoka, OK to Carroll R. and Erma Jeane (Ricketson) Krahn.Kyle is a 1980 graduate of Dalhart High and was an avid team roper and competitor. "There has never been a man that could spin a tale quite like Kyle Krahn. He would give you the shirt off his back and never think twice about his own welfare. He was a good guy, a super hard worker, a creative jokester, a fun (and slightly unpredictable) brother-in-law, a good friend, a fantastic uncle, a loyal brother, and a true and steadfast son. Kyle's humor, loyalty, and kindness will be sorely missed by everyone whose life he touched. Rest in peace Kyle, you will always be in our hearts."
