Kenneth Weaver - 76, died Sunday, December 19, 2004 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church, with burial in Dalhart Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home- Dalhart, Texas Officiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor of the Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, TX Kenneth Columbus Weaver was born January 19, 1928 in Connerville, OK to Charlie and Mary (Teafatiller) Weaver. They moved to Tulia, TX and then in 1944 to Dalhart, Texas. A veteran of the United States Navy during WWII, Kenneth married Peggie McElroy on September 2, 1950 in Clayton, NM. Kenneth was an Owner/Operator for North American Van Lines and was an Over The Road driver for many years, retiring in 1993. Kenneth loved his family and friends and was known for his love and zest for life. Kenneth was a member of Lincoln Street Baptist Church.
