Kenneth was born to Helen (Hurley) and Richard Kenneth Pack on March 2, 1951 in Dalhart, Texas, where he and his brother Glen were raised. He graduated Dalhart High School in 1970. He went on to attend Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwill, Oklahoma. Kenneth married Kim Stewart on April 24, 1976. They raised two daughters, Lysl and Tiffany. Kenneth was a loving and dedicated family man who loved to attend all activities that his children and grandchildren were involved in. Kenneth loved the game of golf and could be found on the course come rain or shine, and even snow on occasion. More than the game, Kenneth loved his golfing buddies; they were family, too. His buddies and his grandchildren referred to Kenneth as "Packman". Packman loved to laugh and make others laugh, too. He loved telling jokes, playing pranks, and living life to its fullest. Packman never met a stranger and was a friend to all. Kenneth was proud to call Dalhart home and he served the community in many capacities. Kenneth was a dedicated businessman and took great care of his farmers and their crops. Kenneth served on the Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department for many years. From 1985-1989, Kenneth served on the Dalhart City Council and was a XIT Director from 1988-1990, where he was in charge of the concession stands. He served on the Dalhart ISD Board of Education from 1995-1998 and was a member of the Rotary Club. Kenneth was a member of the Dalhart Country Club where he served on the Board of Directors. Kenneth is survived by his wife Kim and his daughter Lysl Vermedahl and husband Nathan and their children Jack, Kate, and Gracie of Dalhart, Texas; daughter Tiffany Moore and husband Colby and their children Cade, Collin, and Tinlee of Aledo, Texas; his mother Helen Pack and brother Glen Pack, both of Dalhart, Texas. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Richard Pack. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Twilight Fund, Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department, or your favorite charity.
