Ken Porter, 54, of Texline, Monday, July 20, 2009 in Amarillo, TXA Memorial service will be held at a later date.Kenneth Lee Porter was born March 15, 1955 in Amarillo, TX to William and Carol (Herber) Porter. Raised in Clyde and Irving, TX he graduated from MacArthur High School in 1973. He attended Texas A & M where he was a Corp member and played in the Fightin Texas Aggie Band. Ken was a true Pisces compassionate, selfless, sensitive and unworldly. He especially enjoyed horticulture and was very good at propagating various plants. Survivors include his parents: William & Carol (Herber) Porter of Texline, TX a brother: David Porter of Memphis, IN a half brother Joe Bill Porter of Jacksonville, FL many nieces and nephews including Andrew and Matt Porter of Temecula, CA. 2 uncles Marvin and Gary Herber of Texline, TX and 2 aunts Marie Mongold of Borger, TX and Joy Heuser of Roseville, CA. and many cousins.
